Rules of concern to citizens

To obtain an entrance visa from the Bulgarian Embassy in Doha, except Qatari nationals holders of the Schengen visa (with multiple entries) who can enter Bulgaria without obtaining an entry visa from the Bulgarian authorities.

Concerning the residency law: one must respect the laws relating to the entrance visa and leave the country once the visa expired. In case of loss of the passport, one has to inform the diplomatic mission immediately.

The use of a valid international driving license when driving in Bulgaria.

One may not enter or take out an amount that exceeds 10,000 Euros in cash (ten thousand Euros), amount that have to be reported to the authorities at the crossing border in order to issue a permit for this amount.
